Career
Tiffany began her journalism career as a reporter at an Atlanta radio station. She later worked for CNN as an associate producer in the 2000s. She has also worked at the Washington D.C. bureau as chief for BET Networks. Later, she became a resident fellow at Havard Kenned School’s Institute of Politics. Tiffany also made regular appearances on MSNBC, most notably on AM Joy with Joy Reid.
She published her book in July 2020. The book was titled Say It Louder: Black Voters, Our Voices and the Shaping of American Democracy. In the same month, Joy Reid’s new weekday show, The ReidOut started and Tiffany became one of a handful of rotating guest hosts of AM Joy.
As of August, Cross Jonathan Capeheart and Zerlina Maxwell were being considered for the weekend slot by MSNBC. She was later named host of a new two-hour show on MSNBC in December. The show was titled Cross Connection and it replaced Reid’s AM Joy Saturday slot with Capeheart taking the Sunday Slot and Maxwell hosting her show on NBC Peacock.
