He worked as tv and radio voice of Fort Wayne Fire hawks indoor football and men’s ball at IPFW. In December 1974, he joined WPTA21 as a reporter of news and sports. Currently, he works as a sports reporter at WPTA.

He also received awards for different services for the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, Indiana High School Athletics Association, the Indiana High Baseball Coaches Association, the Fort Wayne Sports Corporation, as well as the Indiana Interscholastic Athletic Administrators’ Association.
In 2013, Fort Wayne Baseball Federation awarded him with Bob Parker Award for service to baseball in northeast Indiana. Also in 2020, the National Academy of Television Arts and Science gifted him with its Golden Circle Award for fifty years of excellence in television
