Gottmik’s the first transgender man to compete on RuPaul’s Drag Race. He transitioned in 2018. Before transitioning, Gottmik went by a different name and now goes by Kade when out of drag. Originally from Arizona, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion. After becoming immersed in the local LGBTQ community there, he finally decided to transition.
