Career
Lori Stokes began her career as a journalist in 1986 at WCIA in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois where she worked as a medical reporter and later on as a weekend co-anchor.
She later joined WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1988 as a reporter and weekend anchor working for the channel for two years. She then moved to work for WBFF-TV, the Fox Station in Baltimore as a crime and street reporter.
Lori then joined WJLA-TV as a lead female anchor of the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts, and at MSNBC.
Fox-5 WNYW
Lori Stokes joined Fox-5 WNYW on October 4, 2017, as a co-host of Good Day New York with Rosanna Scotto replacing Greg Kelly who had left the station.
Before joining FOX -5, she worked for 17 years at WABC-TV having joined the station in the year 2000 as a co-anchor of Eyewitness News This Morning with Robb Hanrahan. The pair took the show to the number one position.
The two anchors later shifted to Eyewitness News at Noon, replacing Nancy Loo and David Ushery. Afterward, Lori was eventually paired with Ken Rosato and the two worked as the morning and noon anchors. The reporter left Fox 5 in August 2017.
