Born Philip Rosenthal, Phil Rosenthal is a television writer, creator, producer, and presenter who is famous for writing, creating, and executive producing Everybody Loves Raymond, a CBS hit sitcom. He is also known for Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix and  I’ll Have What Phil’s Having on PBS.

Additionally, Rosenthal co-wrote the 9/11 telethon America: A Tribute to Heroes, which won a Peabody Award and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing. He directed President Bill Clinton in a White House Correspondents’ Dinner video, which was shown to wide acclaim at the April 2000 event.

Besides, Rosenthal has had acting roles in several movies including  The Simpsons Movie, Curb Your Enthusiasm30 Rock, and Duncanville. He started his career as an actor soon after college graduation before switching to a producer and television writer.
