When he realized he had a thing for music he learned to play other musical instruments including drums and bass. While in high school, he formed a band called “Conduit.” After high school, the band was disbanded because its members were ended to college. It was then he started performing as Devix, and the name stuck as his stage name as a solo artist.

The Knockouts began airing on October 31, 2022. The knockouts stage of season 22 of The Voice had three artists from each team singing solos head to head. The respective coach of the three artists going head to head had to choose only one winner. Devix will go up against Steven McMorran and Andrew on the November 7th, 2022 episode of The Voice. He sang a rendition of Coldplay’s “Yellow” and Gwen chose him as the winner of the knockout battle.
