He then elected to end his playing career and begin his coaching journey. He transferred from Stevenson University to Florida Atlantic University (FAU) as a student assistant.

Pucciarelli joined FAU in the summer of 2018 and was elevated to a defensive graduate assistant in August of 2020 after being a part of a defensive staff that transformed its unit in 2019.
