Mona Haydar is a Syrian-American rapper, poet, Chaplain, and activist. She rose to popularity after her song Hijabi (Wrap My Hijab) from her 2018 EP Barbarican, went viral. Haydar appeared in the Emmy-nominated series The Secret Life of Muslims. Moreover, she appeared on America Inside Out, a National Geographic show.
