Cadence Baker is a singer and songwriter from Florence, Alabama. She is widely known for contesting in season 20 of ABC’s singing reality competition, American Idol. The 19-year-old (age in 2022) singer comes from a musical family. Her father Shane Baker was the lead singer for the Christian Rock band Cadence while her grandfather Gary Baker is a singer-songwriter, and co-wrote the 1993 hit song I Swear. Baker went to Florence High School in Alabama.
